Meet Sydney Serendipity Strain, high IQ animal
biology student and martial arts enthusiast. One of the
three gifted Podunk preteens, Sydney is every bit the
awkward tomboy who has a crush on Elijah...and he
knows it. Although every other boy in school
respectfully steers clear when she comes through,
Elijah has nothing at all to fear, apart from her clumsy
affections. Sydney's father is the local veterinarian,
and her mother of Asian descent died when her little
brother was born, therefore Sydney is very
protective of him, even though she likes to act like he
gets on her nerves. At first, Syd's involvement in
Elijah's adventures are simply because she wants to
be anywhere he is, but just like the others, she soon
