I have faced many monsters and demons throughout my own life, as do we all. Like
many of us who experience trials as God's chosen, young Elijah Webb finds himself
overwhelmed, so much so that he turns his teary and desperate eyes to Heaven and
cries, "Where are you?" Sometimes our faith can be taxed to its limits as we spend
so much time fighting battles we were never meant to wage on our own. We
wonder, "When, oh Lord, are you going to step in," not realizing that we're standing
in the way. Like Elijah Webb, God will give us the power to get the job done, but
not until we stop worrying about the end result; not until we truly let go...and let God.
In Webb Pages: The Riddle Of The Cherub Blade, the first installment in my Biblical
Science based fantasy series, I bring magic, technology, and the actual power of
God together against seemingly impossible magical and technological odds, steering
away from cliche fantasy characters and their customary roles, breaking the mold of
traditional fantasy in an exciting and captivating way. Magic is cool, but even
more-so is God's power!
Thank you for your interest in my book, and may our God, "The Source" of all
things, be with you...always.
...Frightened wasn't the word for how I felt when the old man started
spouting off all that scripture and holding them rattlesnakes in his hands,
as they slithered and coiled around his arms and head. He was just smiling
and gabbing away in tongues... and I was lookin' for the door!
